1.   Meeting called to order at 11:30 am

2.   Previous Minutes from April approved – Motion by Chris, second by Jenn, all in favor

3.   AGM Results

a.   Chair – Mike

4.   New Director – Chris Reid

5.   New director – possibly Bebe – Mike to meet Bebe on May 31st

6.   New Director – Lorne, Keith and Mayor Pickney – indicated not at this time

7.   Treasure Report – bank balance $1030, taxes submitted and NOA Received, Charity stats still pending, AGM and Annual report filed, Casino funding still pending, Jenn’s bank card needs to update with proper phone number

8.   Letters – MLA to Victoria – new letter on letterhead – Mike to follow up

9.   Letter - Prime Minister – waiting to hear back

10.   MP – Meeting at car Show, did receive a certificate of recognition

11.   Asked MLA and Mayor Pickney for letter of recognition as well. Combine all certificate of Recognition into one display for ease

12.   Marketing

a.   Markets

                                                               i.      attended 100 Mile Market on May 17th – good contacts – possible quilt for raffle – they supply table and chairs – inside community hall - will be attending weekly

                                                             ii.      attending 108 Mile Market on May 25th – we have to supply canopy with weight, table and chairs – will be attending weekly, need weights for canopy

b.   100 Mile Free Press – News Article published Apr 17th – under local stories

c.   Mike to reach out to potential MLAs in upcoming election – get their support early – May 25th – Conservatives meeting – Mike will be attending

d.   Grants – Mike still working on applications and write ups – can use some help, met with Shirley for advice

13.   Advocacy

a.   BC – Mike had a meeting with BC Advocacy on Apr 15th held – another meeting planned in New Westminster but cancelled as a result of family situation. Mike to attend another meeting planned in coming weeks

b.   Federal – Mike Volunteered to be Treasurer and help BC Stroke Survivor Advocacy Group of Canada – Monthly meetings

14.   Meeting Space in 100 Mile

a.   Emailed vice president Apr 22nd   - willing to offer space – Waiting for response – Mike to follow up

b.   Chris got Rise and Gring to donate coffees for our bi-weekly meetings, Mike and Chris to present Thank you card and Magnet

c.   Mike sent Mayor Pickney thank you card and magnet for use of chambers in 100 Mile for directors meeting
