1. Meeting called to order at 11:31
   
   

2. Read the Mission, Vision, Focus - Read by Shirley
   
   

3. Previous Minutes approval
   – Motion by Chris

4. Financial

   1. Treasurers Report
      - Approx. $10,000 in Bank but cheque for 50/50 and to pay back Ken and Mike will reduce amount 
      - Shirley to revise and distribute Budget
      - Shirley to prepare plan to reimburse Mike including charity donation options - for a few years out 

   2. Shirley to purchase monthly membership to QuickBooks to allow proper reporting for approx. $30 /month - Motion by Shirley, second by Chris - all in favor 

   3. 50/50 results
      - Approx. $2500 as prizes and as fund raised - currently experiencing a variance - Mike and Shirley to investigate
      - Winners are Saturn for $1542, Loretta for $771 and Dennis for $257

   4. Charity update
      - We have become a charity as of Jun 23rd.  Notice sent to directors
      - all correspondence, including flyers should have our Charity number to let folks know.
      - Mike to update website to include $10 and above for receipts - done
      - Shirley to notify resources of charity status (e.g. CanadaHelps) - possible funding opportunities

   5. Grants
      - Beverly from MLA office investigating operation cost options - notice sent out by Mike, Sally, Shirley and Mike to start effort to send out grant requests 

   6. Event Liability Insurance
      - Motion to purchase Event Liability insurance from Hub for approx. $1000 annually by Shirley, second by Chris - all in favor 

   7. CRA access from Mike personnel
      - Shirley to file paperwork to allow her access to CRA Account

5. Social Activities

   1. Cedar Crest Joint activities - Not at this time

   2. Brain Injury Canada address removal - Shirley to advise when complete

   3. BBQ - Jul 19 - 3:00, no alcohol to minimize liability for Mike, ok for Mike to be reimbursed for hotdogs, burgers, buns, water and juice

   4. Bonanza Pokeno - Aug 12

   5. Bonanza Bingo - Oct 14

   6. Monthly Activities - added coffee at Rise n Grind and Starbucks
      
      

6. New Business

   1. Chris - Office space discussion - will hold until we have Grant funding, Chris to advise Dennis to rent space if he can - once funding in place we can re-initiate discussion about office space

   2. Membership

      1. Mike to prepare membership list, Shirley to prepare and send Mike membership application, Membership Annual fee of $10 to be waived for 2025

      2. signup / database - avoid spamming

      3. Clarify benefits - Bebe’s suggestions - for further discussion once above is done - Mike to send email to Shirley and Sue as FYI

   3. Vehicle proposal by Roger - Hold 

   4. Directors stepping down - Bebe and Sevi has tendered their resignation - will be advisors as needed
